Judging commences 11am.
Closing date for entries is July 23rd 2010.
Numbers will not be forwarded in advance but will be available at the secretary’s office on Show Day at the Showgrounds.
No entry can win more than one red rosette except in Special Classes marked. Ridden animals can go in led classes.
Prizes in each of the following classes (except where otherwise stated) will be 1st Prize €50;
2nd Prize €30; 3rd Prize €20
Entry Fee: €15 LATE ENTRIES - Please note there will be a €5 charge for all late entries.
One person free per animal – all other exhibitors pay at gate.

RULES AND CONDITIONS (Class 4)
Entries confined to non-thoroughbred mares with foal at foot, judged as a unit 50/50.
Confined to breeders in the Western Region, Mayo, Galway, Roscommon, Sligo, Leitrim, and Donegal.
Foal to be judged to make a sports horse.
One mare and foal to be selected from each qualifier.
All qualifying horses must have passports details on qualifying cards.
These rules should be read in conjunction with the Irish Shows Association Rules
Entry Fee: To Qualifying Show - €10: To Final - €20
PRIZES: 1st: €600 & Lanigan PC Trophy (to be returned by 1st Aug. 2011); 2nd: €300; 3rd: €150; 4th: €100
All finalists present at the final not in the first four to receive €50.00
A Piece of Crystal will be presented for Combination of Best Turned out Mare & Foal and Mo st Suitable Dressed Handler Final: Ballinrobe Show – Sunday 5th September 2010
Rules & Conditions - Class 5
Entries are confined to Mares 7 Years old and under entered in the Irish Horse Regi ster with foal at foot by a sire on li st of “Recommended for Breeding” (Approved) stallions published by Horse Sport Ireland and the Northern Ireland Horse Board or a Thoroughbred sire registered in Weatherby’s General Stud Book
The class is open to Thoroughbred mares with foals at foot by a non Thorough bred sire on a li st of “Recommended for Breeding” (Approved) stallions Published by Horse Sport Ireland. Each Mare & Foal will be judged as a Unit (Mare 40% Foal 60%).
The Mare’s passport will be inspected before judging commences at both the qualifiers and the Final & the Foal’s I.D. Cert at the final.
Exhibitors failing to produce a passport will be debarred from competing.
Two Mares & Foals may qualify if the judges and the I.S.A. agree that the standard is high enough.
All Foals must be led at both the qualifiers and the final.
Mares & Foals qualified for the Final are not eligible to enter any other Classes at the Show other than a qualifying Class for other Finals.
